Our story
The heart behind the tributes
People Forever began with a simple idea in 2004: nobody should be forgotten, and the people who loved someone should have one place to keep them.
When someone dies, what is left of them is scattered. Photos on five phones. Stories told at the wake and never written down. A voicemail nobody dares delete. We built People Forever so that all of it can live in one place, added by everyone who knew them, for as long as the internet exists.
What we believe
- Every life is a story worth telling. Not only the famous. A bus driver who coached the under-12s deserves the same care as a head of state.
- Grief is shared. A profile is built by many hands: family, old friends, the pupil from 1988. That is the point.
- Private by default. You decide who sees a profile. We never sell data, and we never will.
- Giving should be honest. When you give to a family, the money goes to the family. When you give to a charity, it goes to the charity. Our fees are shown before you pay.
So far
472 forever profiles, 58,302 candles lit and 4,501 tributes written, on public profiles, on private family pages, and on event pages for the days when many were lost at once.
