Community guidelines
People Forever is a place for grief and gratitude. These are the few rules that keep it that way.
Be kind, especially in disagreement
Families read every word. Disagree with a tribute if you must, but never attack the person who wrote it. No abuse, threats, slurs or harassment, of the living or the dead.
Only real people, honestly represented
Create profiles only for people who have died, and only if you knew them or they were a public figure. Do not pose as a family member. Do not post private information about living people (addresses, health, finances) without their consent.
Fundraising must be genuine
Fundraisers may only be organised by the profile owner, for the family’s costs after a death, with a stated purpose. Identity is verified by Stripe before any money is paid out. Duplicate or misleading fundraisers are removed and reported.
Respect copyright and sources
Post photos you took or have permission to share. Public-figure profiles use freely licensed images and credit them. Embedded posts and videos stay under their platforms’ rules.
No spam, no selling
No advertising, links to unrelated sites, or repeated identical posts.
How this is enforced
Everything on the site has a Report link. A person reviews every report within one working day. We hide or remove what breaks these rules, tell the author why, and close accounts that keep breaking them. Families can ask for any profile of their relative to be transferred or removed by writing to contact@peopleforever.com.
