so I keep trying to write something short here and it's not working, sorry. my brother studied physics at Syracuse in the 90s and used to call home raving about this professor who talked about spacetime like it was made of little grains, like sand almost, that was Sorkin he was talking about I found out years later. never understood a word of the actual science but I remember my brother's voice on the phone, excited, like he'd heard something that changed how he saw the world. 80 years old. anyway. that's all I've got.
