For Raul Daza · 9d ago

91 years old. That's a full life by any measure. Sending love to his wife Teresita and the whole family.

For Tawfiq Abdul Haqq · 23 Sept 2026

33. My cousin sent me the article while I was waiting for a table in Adams Morgan and I just sat there staring at my phone. Temple Hills isn't far from where I grew up, this could have been anyone's brother. Thinking about his family tonight, they deserve real answers.

For Judy Markey · 17 Sept 2026

My aunt lived in Wilmette and every summer I'd visit and we'd have the Kathy and Judy Show on in her kitchen while she made lunch. I didn't even get half the jokes as a kid but I loved how the two of them laughed. That kitchen radio is basically my whole memory of Chicago.

For Siim Kallas · 4 Sept 2026

I never met him but I read about his life and felt something shift. A man who chose to work inside a broken system to fix it, who built a currency from nothing, who believed small countries could belong to something larger and safer. That kind of courage feels rare now.

For Gene Wilder · 24 Mar 2026

Watched Blazing Saddles for the first time last year and couldn't believe how fearless it was. Gene Wilder and Mel Brooks knew comedy could say hard things if you made people laugh first. Miss that kind of courage.

He did so much quiet work most people never heard about.
