Just read this at work and had to sit down for a second. My constitutional law professor in Provo used to play us the audio from United States v. Virginia, Bender arguing the VMI case, and I still remember him saying that was his favorite argument of all time. 93 years old. Rest well, sir.

107 years old and still teaching us what survival means. The Lodz Ghetto, Auschwitz, and then he built a life anyway. That's the kind of history that breaks you and fixes you at the same time.

My grandfather told me about the Masses for the Homeland at St Stanislaus Kostka. Father Malkowski was there when the country needed priests most. Rest well.
