For Elio Zamuto · 9 Sept 2026

May he rest in peace. A life given to the art of performance, whether on screen or in the dubbing booth. That's a legacy.

For Klaus-Michael Kühne · 27 Aug 2026

I never met him but my grandfather worked in shipping and always said Kühne was the one who really understood how the world moved. Rest well, sir.

For Glória Menezes · 22 Aug 2026

I only discovered her through reruns of Rainha da Sucata last year and fell in love with Laurinha. Then I read she'd been acting since before my grandparents were born. A whole life of grace and discipline. Rest well, Glória.

For Gunther von Hagens · 29 Jul 2026

There's something beautiful about a man who spent his life showing us we're not meant to be mysteries to ourselves. He believed in honesty about what we are. I'm grateful for that courage.

For Alain Delon · 26 Sept 2025

I read that he came from nothing, just like so many of us. Foster care, boarding schools, a delicatessen job. Then he became this icon that the whole world loved. There's something hopeful in that story even now that he's gone.

That's exactly the kind of writer he was, made you feel like you hadn't left.
