My dad texted me a clip of him from the 70s, all hair and mustache, scoring for Santiago Wanderers, said this guy was before my time but what a striker. Never knew the name before today but that green number 9 shirt is burned in my head now.

my mom called me about this one, she was a pediatric nurse in the 70s and said women like Carolyn never got any recognition for that work. 82 years old, married 59 years to the same man. that part got me more than anything.

My parents voted for him in 2004. I was only ten but I remember them talking about voting their conscience. That stuck with me all these years.
