Arturo "Lobito" Torres

On 19 September 2026, after his corner stopped the fight with Gilberto Garcia in the seventh round at Parque Vicente Guerrero, Torres collapsed in the ring. He was taken by ambulance to Hospital General de Mexicali. Doctors found a blood clot in his brain; he had surgery and was kept in an induced coma.
