Benjamin Satterley (PAC)

Benjamin Satterley, the English professional wrestler known to fans around the world as Pac, died on September 27, 2026, at the age of 40. All Elite Wrestling (AEW), the company he had worked for since 2019, announced his passing on social media late that Sunday night, saying it was saddened to share the news and offering condolences to his family, friends and fans. No cause of death has been made public.

Satterley was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and began wrestling in 2004. He built his reputation on the independent circuit in Britain before moving overseas, where he became one of the most respected high flyers in the sport. He performed for promotions including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor and Chikara in the United States, and spent years as a headline act for Dragon Gate in Japan, where he competed under the PAC name and also appeared for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

In 2015 he signed with WWE, where he wrestled as Neville. He was a foundational figure in the early days of NXT, becoming a former NXT Champion, and he later moved to the main WWE roster, where his aerial style made him a standout among the promotion's cruiserweight division. He left WWE in 2018 and returned to independent wrestling and Dragon Gate under the PAC name before joining AEW in 2019.

In AEW he became one of the promotion's defining performers. He was crowned the promotion's first-ever International Champion and won the AEW World Trios Championship twice, first as part of Death Triangle alongside Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix, and later as part of the Death Riders stable. At one stretch he held the International and Trios titles simultaneously, becoming the first person in AEW history to hold two championships at once. Across his two decade career he was known by the nickname The Man That Gravity Forgot, a reference to the innovative, high risk aerial offense that set him apart from most of his peers and influenced a generation of wrestlers who followed him.

Satterley's death came just one day after he had appeared at AEW's All Out pay per view in Chicago, where he lost a match for the AEW National Championship to Andrade El Idolo and also took part in the Tornado Tailgate Brawl alongside his Death Riders stablemates. The suddenness of his death, coming so soon after he was seen competing in front of a live audience, shocked fans and colleagues across the wrestling industry, many of whom shared tributes online in the hours after AEW's announcement.
