Julia Child taught America to cook French food with Mastering the Art of French Cooking and her television show The French Chef, laughing off every mistake on air. She died two days before her 92nd birthday.

My grandmother loved Julia. When she died we played their work at the funeral. Now they're both gone. Strange how connected it all is.
