Gratitude
My dad introduced me to Edson's work when I was a kid. We talked about it for hours. Today I'm thinking of both of them.

Pelé won three World Cups with Brazil, the first at 17, and scored more than a thousand goals for Santos, the New York Cosmos and his country. He remains the only player to win the World Cup three times.
“O Rei.”
Memories, thanks and farewells from the people Edson touched.
My dad introduced me to Edson's work when I was a kid. We talked about it for hours. Today I'm thinking of both of them.
Sending love to everyone grieving today. Edson belonged to all of us, and we all lost something.
Thank you for a lifetime of it, Edson. Rest in peace.
Pelé will be remembered long after the rest of us are forgotten. That's what greatness looks like.
A life fully lived. Thank you, Edson.
There are people you assume will always be there. Losing Edson feels like losing a piece of the furniture of the world.
Well put.
To the family: you shared Edson with all of us for so long. Thank you. We're holding you in our thoughts.
Gone too soon, even at any age. There was so much more to come.
My dad and I disagreed on everything except Edson.
I keep coming back to this page. It helps to know so many others feel the same.
Couldn't agree more.
I never met Edson, but I feel like I grew up with them. Thank you for being part of my life.
142 people are remembering Edson here. Light a candle when words are hard. It stays here.
Be the first to give.
Sending love from France.
