For Andrea Eastman · 10h ago

The thing about Andrea Eastman that sticks with me is the horses. She spent her final years the way a lot of people should spend theirs, just trying to help creatures who couldn't help themselves. The casting wars are legendary, but those sanctuary horses, they knew her kindness. That's a good end.

For David Worth · 2d ago

Bloodsport changed everything for action cinema. David Worth saw the potential in that story and shot it with such clarity. A true craftsman.

For Barry Cleavin · 3d ago

My professor at Canterbury showed us a Cleavin etching in a seminar on satirical art. The bones, the doubt, the small human figures caught in impossible situations. That image stayed with me for thirty years. I became a historian because of prints like that one.

For Didier Decoin · 6d ago

I grew up watching his television adaptations of Hugo and Dumas. Didn't know his name then, but I knew the stories. That was his gift.

For Carlos Horacio Salinas · 7d ago

His quote about being born to play football stuck with me for years. He lived it, even when life got hard after the pitch. Respect to him and his family.

For O.J. Brigance · 22d ago

I first read about O.J. making that first tackle in Super Bowl XXXV and thought, that's a story worth knowing. Twenty years later I learned the real story was what came after. A man who chose to fight and to lift others up. That's a life.

For Bob Saget · 6 Jun 2026

He was America's dad for a reason. Not because he was perfect, but because he was kind, and he worked for it every day. Gone too soon at 65.
