Never knew the man, just came across this on a local Laois page. Something about the whole town turning out that got me, even from here.

My mother called me the second this hit the news, she could barely get through a sentence. Eleven years old. The thing I can't shake is that they pulled her out of school, so nobody who might have noticed ever got the chance to.

Never followed labor arbitration, not my world, but my dad worked USPS for thirty years and used to grumble about contract disputes at dinner. Read that Germano kept hearing cases until 2020, almost at eighty. Give the man that.

Read this on the drive home and had to pull over for a second. Twenty years old, just out there setting cones so the rest of us can get through construction safely. Some drunk in a Yukon swerved around a safety truck to do this. Makes you sick.

Shipping heir becomes the guy steering the ship through the handover. That's either the setup to a bad joke or a genuinely wild thing to pull off.

Watched him work with young QBs at the park. The man had patience. Probably learned that in a classroom, not a stadium.

A woman who literally carved her own museum in the middle of Mexico City and made you touch the art. That's not a career, that's a rebellion. Rest well, Geles.

Agreed. Lucy's Eyes still comes on the radio here and takes me right back.

Your grandmother sounds like she understood what Connie really meant. That door was hard-won.
