36. That is just not old enough, no matter what the circumstances. Thinking of his family tonight.

Adam Wolke was a German livestreamer and web video producer, known to his audience as SkylineTV, who is widely credited as one of the pioneers of "in real life" streaming in Germany and Europe. Instead of broadcasting from a studio or a gaming room, he took his viewers with him onto the streets, to city centres, festivals, trade fairs, theme parks and trips abroad, letting the live chat steer where he went and whom he spoke to. He died in October 2026 after a severe brain haemorrhage caused by a ruptured aneurysm; his death was announced on 20 October.
Wolke grew up in Schleswig-Holstein in a Jehovah's Witness community, and later spoke publicly about distancing himself from it as a teenager. He began experimenting with mobile livestreams in full HD around 2013, at a time when the term IRL streaming was barely in use. From 2014 he was a co-host of the web show Netzprediger alongside Fabian Nolte, and from 2016 to 2018 he was its main presenter. His own format SkylineTV began as a produced travel show, with a first episode from New York City in December 2014, before he turned it into the weekly live programme SkylineTV Live in 2017.
Over the following decade SkylineTV Live became a fixture of the German streaming scene, with regular Thursday evening broadcasts and more than 265,000 followers on Twitch by 2026. Wolke was valued for his skill as a live entertainer and host and for his technical know-how in getting streams to work in difficult locations. He produced large live broadcasts for some of the best known German streamers, including Knossi, MontanaBlack and Trymacs, and in 2024 he won the Knossi edition of Big Brother. He lived in Frankfurt am Main.
His death was made public on Tuesday 20 October 2026 in a joint Instagram post by his close friend, the streamer and presenter Jens "Knossi" Knossalla, and the creator Verena Ullrich. They wrote that he had suffered a severe brain haemorrhage as a result of a ruptured aneurysm and that they had been by his side until the end. His management confirmed the death to Der Spiegel and Bild. Bild reported that he had died on Sunday 18 October. Most reports gave his age as 36, while Bild reported 38.
Tributes came from across the German creator community, among them Rewi, Flying Uwe, Tomatolix, Aaron Troschke, Katja Krasavice and Zarbex. On his own website the chat turned into a book of condolence, and the "i" in the word Live in his logo was replaced by an animated candle. He is remembered as a warm, inventive broadcaster who helped show what live streaming from anywhere could be, years before the format became mainstream.

In their own words
“It is with deep sadness that we have to tell you that our Adam has sadly passed away.”

Agreed, way too young.
