Bob Marley took reggae from Kingston to the world and made songs like No Woman, No Cry and Redemption Song into anthems for people everywhere. He died of melanoma at 36 and was given a state funeral in Jamaica.

My grandmother loved Bob. When she died we played their work at the funeral. Now they're both gone. Strange how connected it all is.
