Jesús de Miguel Alameda was a Spanish professional footballer, a tall centre forward who climbed from the regional leagues around Madrid to Segunda División and was leading the line for CD Tenerife when he died at the age of 30.

He was born in Madrid on 21 September 1996 and came through the youth systems of CDE Lugo de Fuenlabrada and CD Leganés. In 2015 he stepped up from Leganés's under 19 side to its reserve team in Tercera División. Two years later he joined Internacional de Madrid, scoring nine goals in 33 matches and playing a key part in the club's promotion to Segunda División B.

His career was built step by step in the lower divisions. After a spell with CF Fuenlabrada and a loan at Unión Adarve, he scored 12 goals in 29 games for CDA Navalcarnero in 2019 to 2020, including the goal that won promotion. In 2021 he signed for Unionistas de Salamanca in Primera Federación and scored 12 goals in 36 matches, and in January 2023 he moved to CD Castellón, where over three seasons he helped win promotion and then made his debut in Segunda División.

In July 2025 he joined CD Tenerife, then in Primera Federación, and won another promotion to Segunda División with the island club, where he wore the number 9 shirt.

On Monday 2 November 2026, in stoppage time of Tenerife's league match against FC Andorra at the Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López, he collided with the Andorra goalkeeper, who had come out of his area to stop a counter attack. De Miguel collapsed and suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, and medical staff performed resuscitation on the pitch. The match was abandoned at 2 to 2. He was taken to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria, where his condition worsened neurologically overnight, and CD Tenerife announced that he died at 8:00 on Tuesday 3 November 2026. He was married and the father of a young daughter.

In its statement the club said there were no words of consolation and that it stood with his family and with all Tenerife supporters, who were mourning a cruel outcome. Unionistas de Salamanca, where he had scored freely, had sent its support the night before, hoping it would all turn out to be a scare.
