For Blanche d'Alpuget · 23h ago

She helped Afghan women in refugee camps when most people wouldn't even say their names out loud. A quiet kind of courage that the world needs more of. Rest well, Blanche.

For Joe Morgan (manager) · 4d ago

My dad played semi-pro ball and would drive to Fenway just to watch Walpole Joe manage. Said he reminded him why you stay in the game. A life well lived.

For Konrad H. Jarausch · 6d ago

Konrad was everything Chapel Hill needed. He lived between two worlds and taught us both sides had something to learn from the other. His energy, his kindness to students, the way he'd get that restless look and just have to go run or swim it all off. That was the real work. Rest well, friend.

For Elia Zenghelis · 8d ago

He taught that architecture should make collective life more exciting, not just give you a nice house. That generosity of thinking, that openness to what a room or a city could do for people living together, that's what I'll remember. A real teacher.

For Kirk Douglas · 11 Aug 2025

My parents took me to see Spartacus when I was eight. I remember the sword fights, the crowds, Kirk's face when he said those words. I became obsessed with old Hollywood after that night. Thank you for everything you created.
