My mother called me about this, she's the one who gave me Stones From the River years ago when I first moved away from Greece. Trudi Montag was the first character who made me understand what it means to be the one who sees everything and says nothing. 80 years old, in Sag Harbor. Strange to hear about a death in a language that isn't the one the book was written in either.
