Didn't grow up with LSU baseball, moved to Baton Rouge for work a few years back and someone told me to just go to a game at Alex Box. Took me one inning to get why they still call it The Box. 88 years old, that's a full life well spent.

I did some transcript work on the Winter interviews years ago, just formatting pages. She'd stop and correct a line if the translation didn't carry the exact weight of what she'd said in Czech, cared more about getting her own words right than sounding polished. Small thing but it stuck with me.
