My father went the same way a few years back, terminal diagnosis, chose his own time at the end. Watched Breaking Away with him a dozen times over the years, Barrie's Evelyn Stohler was the quiet heart of that film. 95 is a full innings but this one still stings.

Never followed his work closely, ceramics isn't really my thing, but that stained glass he did for the cathedral in Saint-Pierre is something else. Saw a photo of it once in an article about Martinique. 88 is a good long run.
