For Heather Roberge · 24d ago

okay so this is not even my field at all, I'm not an architect, I just followed a design blog years ago that kept posting the Succulent House and I saved like six photos of it to my phone because I was redoing my own tiny apartment and wanted that same feeling somehow, and I never even knew her name until today when I saw it was the same person, Heather Roberge, and she taught at UCLA for twenty plus years too which I didn't know, and now I'm just sitting here scrolling old screenshots. 55 is nothing. anyway. sorry, rambling, I just didn't expect to feel this about someone I only knew through a blog

For Roger Simon · 10 Sept 2026

Read Show Time in college and it made me want to understand politics. Roger Simon made it all readable, like a story instead of noise. Rest well.

For Paddy Keenan · 9 Sept 2026

My mum used to play Seachtar on repeat when I was a kid. I didn't understand it then. I do now. Thank you, Paddy.

For Georgy Matyukhin · 7 Sept 2026

I only knew his name from the ruble note, but I looked him up tonight and read about what he tried to do for Russia's banks when everything was falling to pieces.

For Klaus Hänsch · 9 Aug 2026

Those Commissioner hearings changed everything. Made power visible instead of letting it hide behind closed doors. That was his gift.

For George Harrison · 7 Aug 2025

I grew up listening to 'Here Comes the Sun' with my mum in the car. It shaped everything. Thank you for the music and for showing us there was more to rock than what we thought we knew.
