My abuela played La Flor Morena on vinyl every Sunday morning. She'd dance me around the kitchen in Lima before we moved to Atlanta. I'm 13 now and only really understood last week why that voice mattered so much to her. Rest well, Edith.

The Phantom Tollbooth illustrations are just magic. I grew up with those pictures and never knew the same person drew all those grown-up cartoons. What a range.

I'm only 15 and I just found The Apostle. He wrote it and directed it and acted in it all by himself, and it's so real it scared me. That's a real artist. RIP.
