Never heard of her before this came across my feed, but first woman to hold the Arts portfolio in New South Wales is a real thing to have done. Didn't know anything about NSW politics, just stopped on the part about her wanting to be an opera singer. That's a good life even if I only caught the tail end of it.

My dad called me the second he saw it online, he used to cut Oliphant's cartoons out of the Denver Post and tape them to the fridge. I mostly know the penguin from memes but dad said that bird said more than half the op eds ever did.

My daughter showed me a clip of Kuchipatchi last year and I had no idea there was a real person behind that voice. Told my mom about it just now and she just said "the little yellow guy" and got quiet.
