so I'm reading this over breakfast, eggs going cold, and the name keeps bugging me, Datcu, Datcu, and then it clicks, Bodrum, we ate at a little place near Turgutreis maybe eight years back, the owner went on about some old goalkeeper who lived up the road with his wife and dogs and a garden, didn't think much of it at the time, just nodded and had more raki, turns out that was him, six goals in a whole season is the kind of number you can't really picture unless you've stood in a goal yourself, which I never have, anyway 89 is a good long run, sorry, rambling, just struck me how you can sit two tables from history and not know it
