My mother called me this morning, said Miss Gladys from Rocky Creek had passed. I'm out here in Spain and it still stopped me cold. She worked that textile line for years, my mom always said she was the kindest woman on the floor. 79 years old. Sending love to her family from far away.

My father played M*A*S*H every Sunday for decades. He'd quote Hawkeye Pierce at the dinner table. That show shaped how he saw the world. Sutherland gave us laughter when we needed it most.
