Born on February 9, 1973, Angela made Independence her longtime home in Tangipahoa Parish. She was an active member of St. Helena Catholic Church in Amite City, Louisiana, where her faith and parish community were part of the fabric of her daily life. Though she had no children of her own, she loved and cherished her nieces and nephews as if they were hers. She shared a particularly special bond with her niece Margaurite. Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Domiano Perkins; her sister, Mary Margaret Perkins; and her nephew, Mitch Perkins. She is survived by her father, Mack James Perkins Sr.; her brother, Mack Perkins Jr.; nieces and nephews Jami and Joey Reid, Ashley and Blaine Miller, Nicholas Perkins, Joseph Sirchia, and Margaurite and Rodger Granger; and great nieces and nephews Kenli, Karlee, Kolton, Taylar, Case, Clay, Cam, Ashleigh, Ashton, Ahydon, Ryder, and Maddix.
Friends were invited to share condolences through Seale Funeral Service. Angela Perkins leaves a memory of classroom encouragement, parish devotion, and a family life centered on care for parents, nieces, and nephews in Independence and Amite City.
