Gandung Pardiman was an Indonesian teacher and politician who represented the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the House of Representatives (DPR) for the Golkar Party. A senior figure in Golkar in Yogyakarta for two decades, he led the party's provincial board from 2005 to 2025, sat in the regional legislature as its deputy speaker, and served in the national parliament from 2009 to 2014 and again from 2018 until his death. He died in Yogyakarta on 27 October 2026, aged 73.

He was born in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on 25 February 1953. He went to primary school in Karangtengah, then to SMP Negeri 1 Imogiri and SMA Negeri 1 Bantul, finishing secondary school in 1973. He studied social science education at IKIP Veteran Yogyakarta, now the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta, and in 2001 completed a master's degree in management at STIE Mitra Indonesia.

Before entering politics he worked in education. He taught at several junior high schools, became head of SMP Kartika V in Ponjong, Gunungkidul, and lectured at IKIP Veteran Yogyakarta. He rose through Golkar's regional structure, serving as secretary of the party in Gunungkidul from 1992 to 1997 and secretary of the Yogyakarta provincial board from 1999 to 2004, before chairing the Gunungkidul branch and then, from 2005, the provincial board. From 2004 to 2009 he was deputy speaker of the Yogyakarta regional legislature.

He was elected to the DPR in 2009 and sat on Commission VII, which covers energy, mineral resources and industry. After losing his seat in 2014, he returned to parliament on 26 July 2018 as an interim replacement for Titiek Soeharto. He won the seat outright in 2019 with 65,535 votes and was re-elected in 2024 with 94,777, again serving on Commission VII, which in the new term covered industry and small businesses. Locally he also chaired the Bantul sports committee, KONI Bantul, and the Yogyakarta branch of the Golkar-affiliated MKGR association.

He was admitted to Panti Rapih Hospital in Yogyakarta with a fever on 23 October 2026. His condition improved, then worsened in the early hours of 27 October, and he died in intensive care that morning. Golkar secretary general Sarmuji said he had been ill for some time but had remained active when he could. Thousands of mourners came to his home in Ponjong, Gunungkidul, and he was buried that afternoon in a family grave he had prepared himself. His son Syarief Guska Laksana, who leads Golkar's group in the Yogyakarta legislature, asked the public for prayers and forgiveness on his father's behalf.
