Terry Pratchett wrote 41 Discworld novels and sold more than 85 million books. After being diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's he campaigned for research funding and the right to die. He was knighted in 2009.

Gratitude

My grandmother loved Terry. When she died we played their work at the funeral. Now they're both gone. Strange how connected it all is.
