saw this on the local news feed this morning while I was out watering the tomatoes and it just sat with me all day. 55 years old. that's it, that's the whole number, 55, and she dies getting beaten and strangled in a cell in Hawaii of all places, a place people go on vacation. I keep thinking about the family saying she should not have died there, and I don't have anything smart to add to that, they're right, that's the whole point isn't it. anyway. edit: youngest of nine kids, that detail keeps bothering me too
