okay so I keep starting this comment and deleting it because I don't know how to say what I want to say. I got into the Brett Holmes series in like 2011, found it on a bad quality upload late one night, and it became this whole thing for me, I rewatched the Blue Carbuncle one every December for years. and it wasn't until way later I found out there was a producer who basically saw Brett before anyone else did and pushed for him. that's her. that's the thing I keep coming back to, that someone had to actually decide, had to say yes to that face and that voice before it was the iconic thing it became. anyway. 97 years old. that's a whole century of deciding things for other people to enjoy later. edit: fixed the year, she was born in 29 not 30, my bad
