I read Constructing the Subject for a history of psych seminar in undergrad, curled up in my dorm with a highlighter, and it completely wrecked how I thought about experiments as just neutral tools. Genuinely changed my major focus. Thank you for that book.

My mum watched Faerie Tale Theatre with us and would quote Shelley all the time. She had this way of being completely present in every scene. Reading about her life in Blanco, how she left Hollywood and just lived quietly, that feels exactly like something she would do.

I watched Purple Noon for the first time last year and couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks. The way he moved through those scenes, the quiet intensity. I'm really sad I never got to see him perform live.
