My dad had this old diagram of the heart taped up in his workshop, said it was Harvey's discovery that changed everything about how we think blood moves. I was maybe ten, didn't understand half of it, but he explained it like it was the most amazing thing in the world. Still think about that every time someone mentions circulation.
