For R. Lars Herseth · 12 Sept 2026

Didn't know much about South Dakota politics till I read about Lars this morning. Respected that he worked across party lines when it mattered.

For Francois Rosse · 8 Sept 2026

His improvisation classes changed how I listen to music. Thank you, François.

For Sir Roger Jones · 7 Sept 2026

My dad worked in Cardiff pharma in the 80s and used to mention Penn Pharmaceuticals coming up. Strange to realize now how much Roger Jones shaped the whole sector. Rest well, sir.

For Andy Williams (The Butcher) · 5 Sept 2026

He talked about The Blade like a brother. That kind of loyalty, that kind of commitment to the people you work with, you don't see enough of it anymore. RIP Andy.

For Jimmy Batten · 4 Sept 2026

Went the distance with Duran. That's the kind of thing that stays with you. Rest easy, champ.

For Rudolph A. Marcus · 19 Jul 2026

Read that he heard news in Chapel Hill once and couldn't sleep, just worked all night on the math. That's the energy you want in the world.

His father's an illustrator too, saw his stuff years ago. Whole family gave something to art.
