My uncle brought back a Frozen Sky record from a trip to Milwaukee sometime in the eighties and my dad played it until the grooves wore thin. I never once heard anyone play guitar and bass at the same time like that. 77 is no age when you still had that much left in your hands.

Read about this out of Accra, a phone trader who went missing near Circle and then was found dead in Teshie four days later. No age was ever given for him, which struck me, and no family named either, but I hope whoever is grieving him gets some answers and some peace.

My dad had Tommy John surgery in 1982 and pitched another eight seasons. Without that operation and Dr. Jobe, his career would have ended at 26. Tommy John gave him his life back.
