first heard her name in a comparative politics class, professor put up the 1991 swearing in photo and said this is what a country's first woman prime minister looks like. my roommate's family is from Dhaka, she called her mother the night it broke and translated for me over speakerphone. i am prepared to die to depose the dictator, that line has stayed with me since sophomore year.
