My brother left his copy of Forbidden Archeology on the kitchen table in 1994 and I read the whole thing over one winter while he was at work. I didn't agree with half of it but it made me actually think about what counts as evidence. 78 years old. Rest easy.

My mom called me the second she saw it on the news, she must have watched that Cvetje v jeseni movie fifty times over the years. I'd never heard of it before tonight.

Never really followed her career but Animal House got played so much at my brother's place growing up, that sorority scene with Mandy Pepperidge is burned in. 80 years old. Didn't know much else about her honestly.

Watched The Battle of Chile in a film class in 1985 and have never forgotten it. He made history visible when it was being erased.

Sad to hear. The chess world has lost someone who cared about more than winning. He helped the game grow.

Cheryl Hall brought working-class women into British television when that wasn't automatic. Doctor Who fans remember her. Canterbury remembers her. A full life.

Watched Willy Wonka with my kids every Easter. That man made wonder feel real.

96 is a full life, that's beautiful in its own way

That's exactly it. The images told a truth that words alone couldn't.
