Gabriel once said something in an interview that changed how I thought about my own work. I've never forgotten it.

Gabriel García Márquez wrote One Hundred Years of Solitude and Love in the Time of Cholera and won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1982. Known across Latin America as Gabo, he lived much of his life in Mexico City.
