Brytavious Lakeith Chambers, known to listeners everywhere as Tay Keith, was born on 20 September 1996 and died on 18 June 2026. He was an American record producer whose beats became part of the sound of his era, with eleven of his productions reaching the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. Among them were two singles from 2018, "Look Alive" by BlocBoy JB, which climbed to number five, and Drake's "Nonstop", which reached number two.
Four of his records went all the way to the top of that chart. Two came from Travis Scott, "Sicko Mode" in 2018 and "4x4" in 2025, and two from Drake, "Jimmy Cooks" in 2022 and "First Person Shooter" in 2023. In 2023 he appeared on the Hot 100 as a lead artist for the first time with "Pound Town 2", made with Sexyy Red and featuring Nicki Minaj.
Alongside the music, he finished what he had started in the classroom, receiving his bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on 15 December 2018. His work on "Sicko Mode" brought him a nomination for Best Rap Song at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. He was signed to a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and was a member of BMI.
