My mom called me the minute she saw it, she's the one who always talked about Marie Curie like she was family almost. Didn't know there was a grandson still doing the work right up into his nineties. 94 years old and still carrying that name forward.

My sister called me from Salt Lake while I was out in the garden and told me Pamela Atkinson had passed. I thought of that line she always gave, about handing a homeless friend a pair of socks and his whole face lighting up. Ninety three years old and still out there as far as I know. That's a life.
