For John Virgo · 4d ago

My dad found Big Break on some late night cable rerun when I was a kid in Wisconsin and we watched it every week just for Virgo's trick shots. 79. Didn't know snooker could be funny until him.

For Carola von Braun · 19d ago

Saw this come across my feed at work. Honestly don't know enough to say much, first Women's Representative in Berlin, 1984. Sounds like it mattered.

For Tiruchi R. Thayumanavan · 22d ago

My dad had a cassette of Tiruchi doing konnakkol, used to play it on long drives when I was a kid in Wisconsin. Didn't understand a word of it but the rhythm stuck with me for life. 95 years old. That's a full innings.

For Adrian Rurawhe · 25d ago

64 or 65, either way too young. Never heard of him before today but a Speaker dying in office news travels. Hope his mokopuna are doing okay.

For Hamid Barrada · 28d ago

Found the Hassan II interview clip in a grad seminar on authoritarian media. Never forgot it.

For Amanda Mack · 16 Sept 2026

my mom just texted me the number 20. that's it, that's the whole text.

For Fabio Mussi · 4 Sept 2026

Didn't always follow the easy path. That takes something.

For Wilfried Wesemael · 2 Sept 2026

Tour de Suisse 1979. Never forgot that name. Rest well, Wilfried.

For Sir Billy Boston · 31 Aug 2026

571 tries. First RL knight. Changed the sport.

That run 78 to 82 will never be repeated, the league's too different now.
