okay i keep starting this comment and deleting it. my mom used to put on L'Albero Azzurro for me when we visited family friends in Italy one summer, i was maybe seven and didn't understand a word but the clay just kept turning into other things and i didn't need the words. i found out years later it was Fusako Yusaki behind it and it felt like finding out a magic trick had a name. she said something once about plasticine being like us, growing up, growing old, going back to the earth, and i think about that more than i probably should. 89 years old. anyway. sorry for the ramble, just needed to say it somewhere.
