For Ediémou Blin Jacob · 2d ago

Just read the piece on him forgiving his church rivals before he died. Man had sense.

For Malcolm Edwards · 10d ago

Picked up a yellow spined SF Masterworks copy of Dune at a used bookstore outside Atlanta back in '99. Didn't know the editor's name then. Man had an eye for what lasts.

For Jennifer Finch · 12d ago

59. That's no age. Hope her family is holding up alright.

For Jacek Ziober · 18d ago

Caught him playing left wing for Tampa Bay Mutiny on the local cable broadcast, must have been 96 or so, my son was still in high school and we never missed a game that year. Didn't know about Montpellier or any of the Poland stuff till I read it just now. Sixty. Rest easy.

For Louis Mukwaya · 27d ago

"Viruses do not respect national borders." Said that plain, and it held up. 87 years old, kept a lab running through a war. That's the whole story right there.

For Harjit Singh · 18 Sept 2026

3am, point blank. 43 years old probably not even. Damn.

For Annette O'Callaghan · 17 Sept 2026

Never crossed paths with her, only heard the name through legal work. Parliamentary counsel is thankless drafting, line by line, and by all accounts she was careful at it.

For Fr. Dominic Monti · 16 Sept 2026

Read Francis & His Brothers on a Greyhound to Buffalo, must've been '93. Didn't expect a history book to hold up like that.

For Brian Wolfe · 15 Sept 2026

Watched that Yankees game with my nephew back in 2007, the one with the A-Rod business. Wolfe took the loss for something that wasn't his fault. Never forgot that.

For Aleksandr Pashchenko · 9 Sept 2026

From scenery crew to the top. Started by accident, never left. That's a life well spent.

For Jesse Jackson · 8 Sept 2026

Reverend Jackson changed the game. Taught us all we could do better.

For Richard Tesařík · 7 Sept 2026

Self-taught musician who built something real out of nothing. That takes character.

For Richard E. Stearns · 2 Sept 2026

Sat two rows back at a lecture he gave in Atlanta in 1989. Man was sharp as a tack, wrote theorems on the board like he was painting. Didn't understand half of it but knew I was watching something important.

For Jules Feiffer · 21 Jun 2026

95 years old. Sharp to the end, they say. That's the way to go.

To Javier Chavez’s tribute on Jibesh Chamling Rai’s page · 22d ago

Didn't know that tape existed outside Nepal. Small world.

To Kiran Malhotra’s tribute on Tony Currie’s page · 26d ago

Same, thought he'd retired years back and forgot all about it until now.

To Rhys Ward’s tribute on Peter Gill’s page · 16 Aug 2026

It absolutely does. Theatre needed him to do that.
