I don't really know what to say. My mom has one of his paperweights on the windowsill, a little flower stuck in glass forever, and I never thought about who made it until now. 83 years old. That's all I keep coming back to.

My dad had a Carvin Jones CD in the truck for years, The Carvinator, and we played it on every drive to church. Heard about Phoenix this morning and just sat in the driveway for a minute before going inside. Blues is very easy to play, but hard to feel, he said that once and I never forgot it.
