For William M. "Bill" Fagerman · 4d ago
My dad used to talk about Judge Fagerman like he hung the moon, said he was the fairest one on the 28th Circuit bench when our neighbor's custody case went through. I remember sitting at the kitchen table hearing the verdict read out on the local news. 77 is no age. Thinking of my dad tonight.

Never got into most of her later work but Die Brücke still wrecks me every time I show it in class, she was sixteen playing Franziska and you believe every second of it.
For Frank Grønlund · 25d ago
my dad called me the second he saw it, he's had a Lillestrøm scarf since the 80s and he just kept saying "the captain, the captain" over and over
For Arnaud Denis · 23 Sept 2026
43. That's the number that's stopping me this morning. I only knew Arnaud Denis through a clip of Les Liaisons dangereuses someone posted years ago, but I looked him up after and followed the hernia mesh advocacy since. Thinking of his family and everyone he was still fighting for.
For Margaret Chant-Papandreou · 18 Sept 2026
102 years old. That's a life.
For Amanda Mack · 17 Sept 2026
The EKU program said it themselves, "We mourn her loss, but will forever cherish our memories together." Leaving that there.
For Sheila Kennelly · 6 Sept 2026
From the Independent Theatre to Home and Away's pilot. Sheila Kennelly built a career on pure talent and grit. She made every role matter, no matter the size. That's the work. Rest well.
For Matt Suhey · 6 Sept 2026
Watched him lead block for Payton in '85 and never forgot it. The invisible art. Thank you, Matt.
For Sowcar Janaki · 23 Aug 2026
Balachander wouldn't have been Balachander without her. She made the frame look like life.
For David Baltimore · 27 Sept 2025
My father was a virologist and kept Baltimore's papers on his desk. He said David was one of the few senior scientists who actually listened to younger people. That meant everything to him.
For Philip Seymour Hoffman · 4 Aug 2025
Watched Capote in a cinema in Indianapolis and couldn't move for twenty minutes after it ended. That was Philip. He made you feel things you didn't know were there.
