Philip Seymour Hoffman

Philip Seymour Hoffman was born on 23 July 1967 in Fairport, New York, a Rochester suburb. His mother, Marilyn O'Connor (nee Loucks), became a lawyer and family court judge. His father, Gordon Stowell Hoffman, worked for Xerox. He had one brother, Gordy, and two sisters, Jill and Emily.
